A bunch of lefties had a meltdown after he snuck lines into his patch notes in which he disagreed with what some consider the acceptable stance on such thinks as LGHDTV issues, abortion, and Covid policiy and there was some very entertaining mud-slinging going on on the forums. The fact that he's very vocally Christian definitely didn't help either.
Check out some of the locked threads if you feel like it, it's a good read if you enjoy internet drama.
I think the Dev is still updating the game version he's selling on Gumroad, and the dev is also active on Gab.
The game is amazing for the soundtrack alone IMO.
Where did you get the idea that the game was abandoned?
This is untrue. We've stated multiple times that we'd love to be on the platform and update the game but Steam has banned us after covering up fraud.
How would you like us to solve this issue?
How do you propose this works? How do you prove it?
What does this even mean? Is the game suddenly unplayable?
This is untrue.
If the reviews had said "we hate this game cause the dev is a conspiracy theorist" they would have been valid reviews.
But the fraudulent reviews claimed DLC had been removed. Since this never happened we knew they were fraudulent.
Can you understand the difference?
