After 1 year of the game gone from steam

Is there any method or way to keep having the latest versions of DOMINA, considering i've purchased this game, i would consider a pain to repurchase the same game twice

According to the dev he won't give you updates unless you buy the game again somewhere else.

How the hell could the dev possible push Steam updates, after being kicked from Steam?

You can buy a DRM-free copy, with all the DLC on Gumroad.

He doesn't have to push steam updates. He could give a free Gumroad copy to anyone with a steam copy. No interaction with steam updates required.

exactly, i was specifically talking about that, i don't want to buy the game twice, but i would like to follow and keep the development

There huge number of games out there that give free steam keys for games bought on other platforms. There over a 100 in just my own library.

I have no issue with Steam over this. TOS were breached, contract was terminated. Tha's how business works. That's why you never publicly go against the politics of any partner you're reliant on. That's why I don't have social media with my politics out there under my name, it's bad business.

My issue with the dev is his lack of loyalty to his customers. He can give out keys for free. If that's unsustainable he could do it at cost. He decides to make money from this, which is his right just as it's the right of potential customers to not reward such behavoir.

althought i think that one could show proof that the game was purchased on steam with the transaction recipt, I understant the roughtness of the task of allowing players to do that

If there's no other way, that's fine, but i would be dissapointed if i would have the same game purchased twice

There are reasons, this has been figured out many years ago and plenty of devs found ways to work with it. But for this dev, you gotta buy the game again.

It hasn't been a year. Game is on gumroad, has only one update, and that's the game plus dlc all in one. There are no updates, games finished. Go email him directly if you so much desire to. What is the purpose of posting in a forum where the developer will never answer questions?

Actually asked here because i've attemped to contact him via support on his page, wich seemed to go nowhere, do you know any other contact number or similar?
