Also note: The maps tend to get larger as you descend, but not necessarily more difficult - there could be quite difficult maps that are also small. Perhaps we could also work on a way for users to flag which are easier and harder based on their own experience...
I did lose interest though when I discovered how little the reward was since I was over 100k gold and +20k other resources by the time I unlocked it.
We too, have banged our heads on puzzles which seem impossible but humbled us...
Our developer is trying to build a mechanism for reporting broken puzzles, and/or getting a hint for a known solution.
The rewards do increase with each puzzle you solve, but we can buff them for sure.
