So Agent doesn't work?

Wanted to see what he would do, first action caused game to crash, and crashes 100% of time when reloaded now.

So Agent is unusable?

I always have autoupdate on, so I'd assume whatever the newest available is?

Nothing else has ever crashed the game for me. I just never used the Agent before because people dn't seem to use him, so I figured I'd see what he does. I can try that I guess. Let you know if it works or not.

Ok, I guess turning down the quality does work, since he finished the task and was killed. Not sure if he's useful now if he's just goign to die stealing stuff. XD But thanks for the help though. ;)

There are some OpenGL bugs that need to be fixed, but for now, turning down the quality turns off certain features that might not be working right on your video card. Hopefully you can at least play the game now.

if you use the agent immediately upon hiring him he will be caught. you need to wait 7-10 days before he becomes sufficiently stealthy to not be caught. i consider the agent to be one of the best employees you can hire. you can use him to spy on the magistrate or legate and sell/blackmail their secrets for 120+ gold. it's MUCH safer than risking a pit fight and gives you extra income in case you lose a scheduled arena fight.

on hard and pro gamer the legate and magistrate lose favor very quickly over time. with the emptor and the agent (spying on magistrate and selling magistrate secret to legate) i can manage to keep the legate happy which means around half my fights give decent rewards and arent 1v4s with lions.
