Don't get me wrong both stories are dull as dirt and make little sense but Dying light one at least let you compartmentalise the story and enjoy the game... Also in dying light one you could craft a shield which made firefights bearable, i'm pretty sure it wouldn't be a stretch to add shields to the base game then firearms. And that's assuming Human NPC's even get firearms in the first place.

you do realize there's a block keybind right? and besides if that's not powerful enough for you some weapons have a healing effect on perfect block (6-10%) and you can get the carnage manica if you have DLC1, which pretty much just rewards you for blocking

DLC2 was leaked to have guns btw

Gonna be honest mate, don't think raising your weapon will stop a bullet... thus the shield comment. Also if this game is gonna add all the ♥♥♥♥ Dying light one had but in DLC this time isn't that scummy to you?

game's pretty fine as it is. i honestly don't look forward to guns, would break the gameplay. seems that theres a loud minority of people who want everything dl1 had without realizing dl2 is different and wouldn't accomodate that, imo
