Installed older version of nvidia drivers. Game crashes after a short white screen. Did clean driver installation, game crashes. Used DDU in safe mode to uninstall the drivers. Started windows new and installed drivers, game crashes. Installed driver version the game was working with before - game crashes.

Did a sfc /scannow, it found damaged files and replaced them. But no luck, DL2 is still not starting.

Don´t update your nvidia graphics drivers until that problem is sorted out.

Works again! Did everything I mentioned above, but this time I installed the ancient driver 546.65 WQHL from January 2024.

To my shame I have to admit that that was the driver I was using before upgrading to the latest one. So I am a bit on the slow side when it comes to driver updates. ^^

Can confirm game instantly crashes after the 560.70 Nvidia update. Funny enough, I literally never update my GPU driver day one, I always wait at least a week, this was the first time I said screw it and updated as soon as I got the notification, ever and sure enough I get screwed, never again. Time to figure out how to roll back to an older version.

F*cking same, I never update drivers, last time I updated was almost 9 months ago. Of course the first time I do it and this sh*it happens, same reason I never update drivers unless absolutely necessary, I hate pc gaming sometimes
