Good ways to farm Scrap?

I'm desperately low. I've yet to unlock the main city, but I keep running out, between crafting Molotovs and Knives. Anybody have any suggestions on how to get plenty of it quick?

go around to craftsmen because they usually sell about 40 at a time, craft dark zones and also bins! bins weirdly give like 6 scrap per one :)

scraps are the easiest to find, if you are "hardworking" enough to loot everywhere you go

The bazaar, buy scrap, go to sleep, wake up, buy scrap, go to sleep.

yea shops are the quickest way to get it, also garbage cans keep an eye out for them with the visual detector feature as you work on missions

Merchants & trash cans/dumpsters. In old Villedor you can find small buildings that have several dumpsters, they are usually in courtyards.

Like Jason said, travel around. Imo the best location are:

* The PK Tanker - 3 merchants
* The Fisheye - 2
* The Bazar - 3

The suggestions of sleeping and re-buying from the same vendor works but they aren't fully stocked. Techand aint that stupid. Also the mentioned trash bins in the courtyards are good for looting and of course Dark Hollow stores that have the crafting icon when you mouse over them rather than the valuables icon.

man after merchants. best way take 50-80 scrap from horseshoe abandoned market. use fast travel central loop, sleep there and go again that location. ı took 200+ scrap in 10 minutes

Traders have them so keep buying them.

Forsaken stores have a lot of scrap, though if you are a low level player, you should only raid them during the night.

Trash bins tend to yield scrap as well.

Forsaken Stores trash cans have alot. Esp in the second part of the town.

PSA: scrap amount in trash bins has been drastically reduced since the last update.

@ OP: you may adjust your playstyle then. Molotov? Haven't craft a single one since I'm playing.
