I'M BITTER
BIG SPOILER WARNING SO DON'T READ IF YOU DON'T WANT TO BE SPOILED

So my issue with this game is tha God Forsaken AUTO SAVE since there aren't any i faced a BIIIIIIG Dilemma. I was in the mission were HAKON want to speak to me so i go there bla bla bla the fight ensue then arrive the "Boss" Fighte with Hakon since i somewhat think with my head i hook him and i stomp his head (Twice Only) then he just drop dead without even giving me the choice to spare him or not ( i spoiled myself a little bit to have a GOOD ENDING since i wanted to do a run full survivor with the HAPPY ENDING) anyway since i saw that i just quit the game mid sentence of FRANK i load the game i it just took me back AFTER the fight so NOW I'M FORCED TO REDO 50H OF GAMEPLAY JUST TO HAVE A GOOD ENDING SINCE HIS DEATH ENTAIL TO A LOT OF CONSEQUENCE SO WHAAAAAT THEEE HEEEEL TECHLAND? WHO DOES A GAME WITH MULTIPLE CHOICES WITHOUT THE PROPER SAVE SYSTEM THAT GOES WITH IT? I JUST LOST 50H OF MY LIFE FOR NAUGHT!!!!!!

I thought I killed him too when you call Frank and there was no dialogue option to stop. But when you go to leave the church Hakon is supposed to get up again, then you have the dialogue option to no longer fight (if you didn't leave him to die in the house earlier in the game).
Lawan should also show up and leave you with yet another choice to make.

If neither of those happened then yeah, you're stuck unless you had a backup save unfortunately.

You are an angel I'm so hecking grateful that you saw my message it was as you said i could in fact spare him thank you so so so much i almost deleted my save so thank you.

it doesn't mean that the game don't need a SAVE SYSTEM, It sure does but guys don't be like me blinded by bitterness and see if there is any "plot twists" that come your way before renting about it online
DO BETTER than me.

lol glad I could help! It really doesn't help that in that scene Aiden makes it seem like you really killed Hakon.
It's kind of confusing and frustrating thinking you somehow did something wrong.
The game really could do with a manual save feature though. I know they don't have it because they "want your choices to matter", but when you can ruin a quest by accidentally selling an item (sorry Maya) or get a bad end based on dialogue options that don't seem important at the time then I see that as a problem.
That and the quest bugs people have been having. Manual saves should definitely be a thing.

Misread the topic header, thought you said you were a biter. Took me a minute to realize what you wrote. I thought that you were saying that Aiden fully transformed into a z.

Yeah the lack of proper saving is why so many are stuck in death loops.. They were so obsessed with forcing customers into the black and white choices, they didn't even for see the bugs it would cause to the player base..
