vendor bug?
I can't sell items at high prices, even tier gold weapons and armor only sell for 5-10 gold, but when I join my friend's word, those items can be sold for over 1k.

This is in Hard mode, you can reduce difficulty when you go to a vendor and then sell loot for more than pocket change.

loots in hard sells on easy, what are ya, a coward? genuinely though kinda defeats the purpose if its that easy to make more money off of things.

Yeah it's absolutely ridiculous, considering items are already harder to find and more scarce in the world on hard, on top of the fact it appears that traders sell things at a higher price, it makes no sense for all of a sudden the economy to hold no value in any items you sell.

There is no scale either, any equipment item such as stims etc, from common to purple tier are all 1 gold...that makes no sense and is horrible way of doing the economy from both a gameplay sense and a world sense, and really needs to be changed.
Huh >1k per gold weapon? Are other prices also more than 1 gold?
Wow, I already made 45k with selling stuff on hard, perhaps I could have been a millionare by now... (and get that achievement...).
I just compared the prices in each difficulty. Apparently the value of selling a weapon goes like this:

Normal > Easy > Hard.

I guess you get more stuff on Easy, but why then is almost everything around 1 gold on Hard, makes no sense at all. I don't know much about trading, but that's not comparable with the (sometimes ♥♥♥♥♥♥) weapons that are sold being around 2.5k on Hard.

For example the exact same weapon is:
158g (Normal) > 131g (Easy) > 2g (Hard)

Also, you can't even sell every weapon on Hard... On Normal and Easy I can sell every weapon I have (16), but on Hard only 10.

Yes the map is full of stuff, but overall there is less loot compared to other difficulties, so the fact that they also sell for absolutely nothing, and some things can't be sold either, is ridiculous and shouldn't be scaled in such a drastic manner from an economically and from a game mechanic stand point it makes no damn sense for things to sell for a singular coin in many situations.

From what I gather to be honest they're just spongier on hard, and these artificial kinda limits for difficulty, and its just a really bad mechanic with the trader shizz, i'm fine with making prices higher (which they seemingly are already) but taking away the ability to loot for things other than just valuables to hold Y or whatever to sell is just...♥♥♥♥, variety should still be a thing.

I'm playing on Normal and all of a sudden I'm only being offered between 1 and 9 gold for level 6-7 items. Is this a new "feature" ?

Maybe they nerfed sellers even more.. no idea why it was pretty bad at release.

You get more money for how many mods you have on it, not a bug but it does feel a bit iffy that if you got no mods on the weapon it will sell for dirt cheap even if its a gold weapon....

I've not played for a few days and back then I was getting 50-100 for similar items.
I did noticed when I tried to load a game i got a warning about a new save system. Could that have buggered it up?
