SO. MANY. CUTSCENES.
Like what's the point of playing when cutscenes are right around the corner? Some finishes then you walk around for a few seconds just to start another ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cutscenes.

Yeah I know what you mean. It's great that they're trying to emphasise the story more but man there's a ton of cutscenes in this game.

You can skip them if you havn't figured it out with 51 hours of game time.

Especially those where an in-game character is yelling "Come ON, Aiden!" or similar, and you're waiting for Aiden to yell back "I can't - I'm frozen in another frustrating cut-scene that won't let go of me!"

They are especially jarring for widescreen with the display springing in and out like some crazy accordion. That shatters immersion and is lazy of the developers. Lazy because Flawless Widescreen fixes it perfectly with full width cut-scenes - which means Techland could have done this too, but didn't. I seriously recommend Flawless Widescreen for anyone on 21:9 or wider displays.

Dude, you had to go to that person who is just a few meters away from you just to initiate the cutscene then repeat oover and over again. Don't get me started on the damn long black screen that happened every cutscene. I have been bashing my spacebar to the point I can hear it screaming at me to stop bashing it.

Honestly, the story is not even that enjoyable or even interesting at all, same goes for most characters.

That's weird though, I don't think I've ever gotten black screens for the cutscenes. They just flow in and out of them seamlessly. Unless I'm playing coop but I've stopped playing that for now.

THEN. SKIP. THEM.

Yeah, it is annoying. Yesterday me and my friend went to some people, then there was cutscene, then we went about two meters further, then there was another cutscene with woman talking to man, then we went to that woman and there was ANOTHER cutscene... I don't get it, this section could be one long cutscene, but no...

I really don't find it that bad at all, ran around forever without any. Not sure how they would give missions or side quests without them.

I agree, cutscenes are only during missions. which require them, and they arent super long mos tof the time, or you can skip them

space bar is your best friend in DL2. If only I could teleport to quest locations in safe towns too instead of jogging slowly while being restricted from all the parkouring that would cut the time by 80%. It's like they knew how bad the dialogue they wrote was so they made you as irritated and bored as possible from slowly moving in towns to make sure everybody just spammed space bar through the conversations to finally get back to fun stuff.

Best part is the possible 2 minute (or longer) black screens between cutscenes.

There was even cutscene which lasted 5 seconds, ended - allowed me to control character for 0.5 seconds, teleported me to other end of city and then started playing another cutscene. They could have easily just chained those together and done the teleportation in background, but apparently this was better way.
