Wait, I can't do the main quest again after I finish the game?

I just finished the game and wanted to see the other ending, but in the quests section I only see the side quests, the main quests are listed as "completed".

I can do something? Or can I really not do the mission again?

Have you seriously played Dying Light 2 without playing Dying Light 1?

In Dying Light 1 when you finish the main quests you can continue exploring the map and also redo the final main quest.

As for why I want to do the main quest again in Dying Light 2, well, if you could read you'd know I want to see the other ending.

Preferably I don't want to use hacks (mod menu) to go back in the campaign as I don't know if it can bug my save, but still, thanks!

In Dying Light 1 when you finish the main quests you can continue exploring the map and also redo the final main quest.

3. i didn't ask why you want to do it, i asked why would you be able to do it

you can replay the main quest by starting a new game, or you can wait for ng+ so you could start with all your upgrades and gear

or install dev mod and make your own ng+

"Repeting main quest" after finishing the story is usually called New Game+ or NG+,
and Techland is working on it, but there is not even any date mentioned - so it take time

But for now -there is no NG+, so you cant repeat story...
I mean you can start new save, maybe with difrent purpose, like co-op playing

Wow, you sound like the typical fanboy. If you could replay the final main quest in Dying Light 1, what stops you from doing it in Dying Light 2? There's nothing, if you think about it, that would really stop us from being able to replay the final main quest. They just haven't done it because they didn't want to.

No, I'm not talking about an NG+. I'm talking about replaying the final main mission, in Dying Light 1 you could do it without problems and without having to replay the entire campaign.

Since I went the survivor route, I'm not too sure, but they will be scattered all over the map, like the rest of the traps or the parkour aids.

I imagine those cannons will be in wide areas.

no, you have trouble reading

replaying the final mission won't even do anything as you gotta replay all the previous story missions and pick difference choices and opposite faction

the only thing you can do by replaying the final mission is to pick whether you let lawan detonate the bombs or save lawan, which only changes the message from "city was destroyed" to "city was survived."

another variable that affects it is whether you killed hakon or let him live, which aren't part of the final mission.

And? Can't I replay the last main quest to see the other ending? What if I want to see the message "city was survived"? Do I have to replay the ENTIRE campaign?

Not allowing the FINAL main quest to be replayed like it was in Dying Light 1 makes no sense. If you argue that it makes sense, well, you're just another fanboy of this company.

game doesn't let you turn back time or fix mistakes

unlike most games where you can simply reload an earlier save and redo things
