BUG: "You are leaving the mission area" death every 5 sec

I was playing multiplayer with randoms, after came back to play single player their quests somehow copied to my game. I restarted a game and they disappeared BUT the 5 second countdown saying I left a mission area stayed and I keep dying every 5 seconds when I spawn. My own quests are simple ones and could not cause this.
Someone please help. I have 60 hours invested in this one character and I dont want to lose it starting over.

When you log in, fast travel to a random Metro Station.
If you have none unlocked yet, change the active mission in your Journal.
You may also try suicide, then respawn from last mission waypoint, or try regular respawn.

I tired all of the above options. Unfortunately, none of these help and the countdown stays. :(

I have the same problem for 3 days now. There's no official fix AFAIK. Just some mods to temporarily fix the problem. Otherwise we have to wait or start over. I hope Techland release a new patch this week.

Wow, yeah.
I just got this bug rn.
I'm on solo play, loaded once, then this "activated."

Workaround is either through mods - one that makes the countdown almost infinite, other is Dev Menu (change active quest)

No actual fix yet

Update: It fixed itself for me, I just left it for a couple hours, kept trying and still wasn't working so I was just hopping back and forth to play with randoms (as with multiplayer game bug does not appear) and after some time when I tried again singleplayer the bug was gone..

So I guess you just have to be lucky.. Go play with other people and it may fix itself too!
