It's not so much that it becomes completely bland but enough to save a LOT of disk space.
Yup, and it's too big at the same time for what it actually is. You tend to see the same rooftops and the same parkour routes too often. Should've cut down and tightened their focus more, get rid of a few systems.
And how many extra GB's would the better looking than COD add? And would everything else be to the same standards?
I never said COD didn't do a terrible job at compressing. Also a lot of things in DL2 are literally copy and paste so that saves a whole lot of space.
