Inventory is too small
I can't pick up scraps anymore because I hit the limit of 999. Let me collect more scraps why limit the scraps I can take this is not very player friendly design.

Increase the limit to 2147483647 so I can collect my scraps in peace and not have to play Death Stranding and go back to my stash. This applies to all items like rags and stuff too.

I have nothing else to do in this game because the main mission The Only Way Out is bugged and I can't progress so all I do is collect scraps and now thats ruined as well.

INCREASE INVENTORY SPACE FOR PLAYER!

Low inventory Capacit is deliberate design so they force players to spend time managing inventory, artificially stretching game time. So bad.

Not like every game I just want to be able to collect more scraps than 999 thats like maybe two hours of scrap collecting. Other games let you have bigger stacks than 999. This game just doesn't do that for some reason and it takes away from my enjoyment. Maybe they can add a new craftable called "backpack". This "backpack" lets people carry more stuff.

Store those 999 scrap in your player stash at a safe house.....Problem solved

Satan is a 100% right. A bigger inventory is absolutly needed. I have a 999 stack scraps in my stash and a 999 stack in my inventory. I also cant put my second stack into my stash. and i cant take the stashed Stack and put it into my inventory...i really like dl2 i think its a good and fun game and i hope they will fix this too.

Why stacking? Crafting useless, game ez on hardest with zero upgrades

The problem is not the size of the inventory (in the first game it was even smaller), but the fact that it is no longer possible to dismantle unnecessary weapons into components, as in DL1. This would solve both the inventory problem and the lack of scrap metal.

what lack of scrap metal? I've had zero problems finding scrap. I go on a 30 minutes loot spree and walk out with 300+. Every garbage can found in the streets has given me scrap every single time.

It works if you don't craft and spend scrap metal faster. For example, throwing knives.

so farm for a day. If you are using that much scrap. Maybe find better weapons instead of using throwing knives to take them out

Yes, farming is something I like to waste my free time on.
Especially when I have a lot of scrap in the form of old useless weapons in my inventory that I can't disassemble.

Sell them and buy scrap from vendors....
