Please answer this question, why the ♥♥♥♥ does Tim Sweeney need my PC specs, info about my Steam account, and my online sessions? Especially in single-player games like Ghostrunner, The Outer World and Mafia II DE.
In addition:
Games that have this crap either won't start at all or can't load.
So if for some reason, their service goes down. People will be unable to play games they paid for.
In one EOS game, a friend gets latency problems in the range of 30000 to 100000.
This game has the problem that it can't load the main menu if you block EOS.
The game used to have Steamworks (Valves multiplayer API).
If for some reason you can't reach any of these addresses, yes:
dev.epicgames .com
api.epicgames .dev
et.epicgames .com
et2.epicgames .com
udn.epicgames .com
etsource.epicgames .com
metrics.ol.epicgames .com
datarouter.ol.epicgames .com
epicgames .com
To check if they are reachable open start menu and type "cmd" open that.
then type "ping" and one of the addresses above (without the space before .com)
Or when ping returns IP address is localhost, 127.0.0.1, 0.0.0.0
