You are quite correct but Techland actually uses the name Chris Redfield on his dog tag. They do not use Chris and some other family name.

What a random thing to say if they were making a funny joke even at their expense or if it was really well I would have no issue. The thing I have a problem with is that Techland has no respect for Characters that are well respected in the gaming industry. This is less bad than The last of Us part 2 killing Joel off but I still do not like it.

It's fair to ask if I am trolling but I am big fan of Resident Evil and I was looking to playing Dying Light 2 until I saw what happened to some of my favourite Resident Evil heroes. My irritated conscious can accept that this game is not canon but I'll avoid playing it. Mind you if they had made this a side mission that you did not have play through to finish the game I could have enjoyed the game.

See this is just the wrong kind of thing to say. I do not like how Abby kills Joel in The Last of us part two but you have no problem saying that about two great men who would have no problem saving anyone's life who was in danger.

It's called a homage. And from what I hear Capcom are such huge fans of Dying Light that an upcoming DLC will be an RPD and BSAA outfit for Aiden (but seriously, how awesome would that be?).

That would be neat but a homage should be more respectful. I feel like Leon is a pushover in this game and Chris is even worse. I mean nothing could take down Leon and Chris on the same team but in this game they fall to a far weaker threat than Wesker or Mr. X. I mean if they have to die can it not be to some boss level threat.
