In the mission Wall of Valor Missing in Action. You find Leon wounded and he directs you to an infected Chris Redfield. When you come back to Leon he has already left and you encounter him infected later. There is no way they would lose to such a small threat or be so poorly prepared. I hate it when game makers have to make something else look bad to make their own game look better. Unless they do something about this like make a patch to change the outcome so they survive, I will never buy any of their games including this one. I can understand why they could not make Leon and Chris important characters but at least they could have left the story alive.

The names Leon and Chris are not trademarked...because they can't be. Capcom isn't going to do anything about it. Go find something else to do with your time.

Completely different. Dead By Daylight may have asked Capcom for permission and the fate of Leon and Clair is controlled by player agency. If in Dying Light 2 there was some epic battle where you could save an embattled Chris and Leon or fail and have them die as a result of your failure then that would be awesome.
