The map is annoying

Why do locations become undiscovered between play sessions. Its really annoying to have to run all the way back to a fast travel point you already have unlocked just because it arbitrarily decided it was now an undiscovered location.

THIS! It is so damn annoying when you're trying to beat all the quests, challenges, etc and the game decides to say screw you. This has happened so many times and continues to so dumb

Yep, for me the same thing.
Soft Locked me from the second area, couldn't go back and all the stupid locations I had discovered became undiscovered again.
There are two locations that do that in the first area and it happenes even after a fresh game start. What is this pile of crap?

I fukken hate that! Dumpstered my 30h save to encounter the same BS again.
I am so sick of this!

There is an area in the bandit camp in the northwest that has a "?" and the icon is "blurred" out like it's bugged and I can't discover it no matter what I do. Yet another bug in this bug riddled game. *sigh*

I spend more time climbing buildings to quest givers than i do completing quests.. its really tiring on the second map for me.

Any word about this being a known issue or them fixing it, it is still happening to me with "Houndfield" and "Trinity" regions in the first map area.

Almost all of my already discovered locations have become, "Undiscovered", I'm like, what? What's happening? This is just odd and not normal... I have not ever had this happen, the heck?

Yeah WTF is going on with this....this ♥♥♥♥ needs fixed. Having METROS become UNDISCOVERED is a pretty big bug IMO.

That is a bug that never happened to me until after the last update. All explored POIs become question marks again...

not even a question mark, the location are disappearing completely from the map. it is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ annoying that i lost interest to play this game again.

i got the same problem when i sleep in game. Or when i load the game.

It's something we're investigating. For now can you please try quit and continue as it should recover your point of interest and let me know if it works.

Still broken in 2025. Every time i join coop session all my poi are undiscovered. When i start my solo save same thing happened. Pls techland, this things makes ur game rly trash and unenjoyable. I love DL 1 for its good coop, how happened ur coop is better in previous game ??
