Don't listen to this guy, he's literally just a hater. Buy the game and yes, I'd start with that guide. Play the game and if you like it, keep it. Most Dying Light 1 players goon to Dying Light 1, and anything to do with Dying Light 2, they just plain hate. Just buy the game and see if you like it. Reviews can be a good thing, but hate? Nah, just buy the game.

Nah its not a good game. I didn't even like the first that much but its better. They have
micro transactions in this game and it makes no sense. Don't support those practices.

I liked Dying Light 1, but I also gave Dying Light 2 multiple chances, but if you wanna assume something from a stranger online, have at it. Lmao all we are is opinions on the internet. But the game is not good because the developers do not fix anything fast. The 10 year anniversary update broke stuff and added more micro transactions to a single player/coop game... Its just tone deaf.

The story is... if you've failed with a game release so much, you can't truly redeem yourself. DL1 is loved by players so much because it was(is) an absolutely insane, well-made successor to the Dead Island series. And they've added parkour. It was a win-win product. Dying Light 2 brought nothing but lack of firearms, bad story, deleted content, etc. People didn't like it at all. Now devs are slo-o-o-owly trying to make the game better. Yet, again, DL2 lost all the opportunity. 2023-2025 the worst years for gaming.
