when you get the armory quest

Bows, crossbows, and guns will be available later in the game. Bows depend on level, crossbows come from a few places, and guns unlock after a quest once you get to the Central Loop. You need to grind missions for them, though.
Later, i got pistols and i also found saw-offs

You get bows automatically with the main story. Beyond that, correct.
Thanks, guys. I'll hurry to the Central Loop, then.
The Lost Armory quest will give you access to guns. It is bugged for lots of players including myself. I have no idea how to fix it.
i dont now too:steamsad:
But what bug do you have?

Honestly melee weapons are way better than guns in DL2

Really? Is that because ammo is so scarce, that you have to conserve the ammo? Or does an axe literally do more damage than a shotgun-blast?

Ammo is pretty easy to find, especially if you use a few varieties of guns or in conjunction with melee weapons. Basically, if you use it for ranged attacks and melee things in your face, you will probably never run out of ammo. That said, melee is faster, the damage is impressive pretty fast, and elemental attacks can easily improve your odds in a fight. Setting every zombie around you on fire or paralyzing them all with electricity makes it easy to mow them down.

I think the main point to consider is that the game was not designed for firearms in the first place. Firearms are loud and attract zombies. Bows and crossbows are not.

Agreed. The guns aren't worth using in my opinion. They probably shouldn't have included them.
