Stuck in early zone with no fast travel back to central loop and die in chemicals

I went back to Old Villedor using fast travel now can't get back to central loop. I haven't even discovered a fast travel location to unlock in central loop. However I try I die in chemicals.

Am I stuck. Do I need to start the game again? (26 hours in)

you can't anymore they have patched it what i know.

I was stuck in Villedor as well and could not paraglide across the river, what worked for me was 'respawn at last story checkpoint'
