Grappling Hook Nerf After Patch
Anyone else get mixed feelings about the grappling hook nerf? Its a 50/50 for me, it makes sense but at the same time it doesnt

it doesnt hit as hard as korek charm nerf. cuz as you said it makes sense.
korek charm nerf hits worst, however, because sunken drops not give replenished weapons now. and i am not even that far into story to get any cool weapons more than once. it iwll make my game harder to play post story, and i probably wont be able to get 1 million money achievement either. because those drops worth a lot. my only savior was korek charm. but it gone now too.

Yeah i feel you on that too, but i saw something about the developers saying that the korek charm nerf was a accident? And they will look into fixing it, and the sunken airdrop patch sucks a lot too.:lunar2019sleepingpig:

i liked damage mod more because we had korek charm before. air drops, i havent even opened one yet and they nerfed it already so im not that upset. but korek charm hits hard.

Both the Korek nerf and Grapple Hook "fix" have really ruined the game for me. I was closing towards the end of a second playthrough but the game feels less fun now. Not enjoying it now and probably will quit. I already beat the game once and now it's not the same fun.

These nerfs alone made me uninstall.. I was pretty fed up with DL2 before the patch but now i have no interest in playing it anymore..

Its sad really i played Dying Light 1 through 3 times.

You know you can use mods, problem solved.
You know i do use mods and the game was still terrible..

I hated the Rope Dart in this before the nerfs.. Dying Light 1 spider man grapple was fun. This Tarzan thing is boring.

You said you uninstalled because of nerfs so I was just saying there are mods to fix that, just trying to help as not everyone knows about mods.

If you already hated the game then its no great loss for you.

Agreed it just disappoints me.. they made such an amazing first game and then destroyed everything about it and made this... Whatever this was.

I'm sorry you feel like that, DL was and is an awesome game and I guess I'm lucky as I think DL2 is awesome as well.

Maybe come back when they have added the story expansions, lots of DLC and other stuff, you might feel differently in time.

I intend to as i spent $150 on pre order.. I wish i had not but it is what it is.
