The Korek Charm (a.k.a. "weapon repair charm" Easter egg) -- now USELESS
So... It took having to get far enough in the game to get to the TOP of the tallest building, then para glide over to another, then the completion of a puzzle that's (technically) a SECRET, to get this charm.... Due to ALL of the difficulty in either getting completely LUCKY in finding the thing (to begin with), or finding information about it online, having it be a completely FREE "endless repair item" made it worthwhile to go find......... However, thanks to the BRILLIANT (not!!) idea of making it now cost 666 scrap to use (which takes an ABHORRENTLY long time to collect, thanks to ALL trashcans giving only 3 (as in THREE) scrap each, after passing a certain point in the game, you've now made it POINTLESS to go get it.......... What were you people thinking?!?!?

IF you HAD to "make it cost SOMETHING", I can understand MAYBE making it cost 50 to 100 scrap per repair, taking note that CREATING new items (like grenades and molotovs) takes FAR fewer scrap, I fail to see a point in even considering to repair anything...

While I can see people rolling their eyes at this complaint, because there are SO MANY weapons to be found, finding ANY kind of "gold" level 9 weapons has been (so far) exceedingly RARE to find, which are NEEDED for survivability past the end of the current main story.... That gives credibility to complaining about making a REPAIR cost such a ridiculously HIGH amount, which is only made so much WORSE by leaving it so hard to find scrap!! Even the merchants have NEVER sold any more than 40 scrap at a time, with the average being closer to 20... Between THAT, and the 3-per-trash loot, among other low scrap loot levels, it would take HOURS to collect enough scrap to repair just ONE weapon, one time, on top of the OTHER uses there are for scrap (like arrows, grenades, molotovs, and so on)..........

For many people, this game was already hard or time-consuming enough... NOW, this has become the kind of GRIND I was hoping to escape from other games....... With it like this, I don't see any more "fun" than to complete the game's story line, then quit playing, unless I felt like playing through again with support to another faction (note: I've already done one run for each faction's support, so the only differences I could make are with minor choice-based events)

If you guys thought THIS was an improvement (making this charm have a cost, even if just 50 scrap), then I'd call that improvement "game-breaking", for anyone wishing to keep playing AFTER completing the story...........

One last thing to say................... This WAS a cool/good thing to go look for.... NOW, with such ridiculously HIGH costs for using it, the thing is now a complete waste of time to go find it, if you haven't done so, yet................ If you haven't gone looking for it, wait until AFTER they "fix it" again.........

You BROKE your "gift item", and it WAS supposedly a GIFT item, according to what I read before today... It was SUPPOSED to be the one and ONLY thing you could use similarly to the ability to repair weapons in first Dying Light game.......

Come to think of it, I'm not sure this game is worth spending $60+ for, given the short story-line, and things you did to make it MORE difficult than necessary.................. Great job, if you like the idea of driving away your customer base....

What a huge disappointment DL2 is turning out to be.
The korek charm was the thing that made the game playable, its impossible to get a supply of lvl 9 weapons, since endgame content is pretty much non existent (unless you count swimming around for hours looting boxes i guess) and vendors don't sell legendary weapons above lvl 6 making money useless, and as far as i know there's only 2 encounters that drop lvl 9 gear and it's pretty much always blue or purple vendor trash.

Techland, you dun goofed.

I love that to leave it be like "Easter egg(s)" to let ppl focus to survive, finding new weapon for everytime it broken.

it was literally a post post game thing
it was nice not having to use the now nerfed durability mod anymore and put extra damage on your lvl9 artifact weapons you got from the sunken city

DUUUDE this game was super lacking anything end game content and now they literally took it all away
