Should I do the Epilogue?

Hello,
Looking for the achievements here, I reached the warning pop-up for the endgame mission but I red somewhere that if we continue without doing the side quest, all of them would be removed after finishing the main story? Is that true and if so, should I do the game 100% before finishing the main story? Thanks!

You can go back after you finish the game, and do the side quests, at least I think so. I know you can free roam, but.. I know in Dying Light that same warning pops up, but I never actually tried to free roam and do other things, but that was in 2015 when I beat it on console.

At the end of the game, it returns you to the state just before you entered the "point of no return", thus you can continue where you left off side quests and all.
