With or without event...
I've started playing DL2 with a friend few weeks back, and now we get that message? What does that even mean? Why is there no explanation?? wtf, how hard is it to place like hint or something below the question?

Wrestle Mania makes your melee attacks much more powerful. But also you run out of stamina if you use normal weapons. If you are new to the game and have not upgraded your char much you will run out of stamina after only a few hits with melee weapons.

So it is best to disable the event if you just want to play the game normally.

They do.

They pop up an obnoxiously large screen at the main menu that tells you about the event, along with any other news that they may have. You can also access this at any time from the pause menu by clicking on the slide show panel in the bottom left corner.

If you simply mashed keys to get past the popup message without reading any of it, that's your fault.

I always turn the community events off for DL1 and 2. Such immersive games, the events spoil that.

Don't you think it would make more sense to write in explanations when you have options for with or without menu?
Isn't that just pure logic with any other game or any other piece of software ever?

Why would i wanna read all the news and whatnot just to figure that out, I just want to jump into game...

They do, it just requires a modicum of effort on your part, which most people aren't interested in doing.

"Why would I read stuff?" So you know what's going on? You would've saved so much time just reading the news than coming here, posting, and waiting for replies. You chose the least efficient path possible, and, what, you want a cookie?

It means if you want to be part of the event (some buff in smth but a debuff in smth else probably and some rewards) or not (normal gameplay)

We make huge pop up on launch
Post news on Steam page
post on every single social media platform, form discord to reddit.
We post on our website.
There is no more places where we can squeeze it in, we cover all areas we can with information about even occurring, and what does it do tbh.

Should just delete the thread, it's total nonsense.
