GPU ON FIRE
Hi everyone, at a certain point after many hours(dozens) my PC has started to overheat and my GPU literally burns if you touch it, I have a 4080 and I've been playing all Ultra 4K until this "thing" happened, I lowered the settings to HD but it didn't change a thing......any clue?

Most useless response to a question I have ever witnessed. Sounds like you need to repaste the heatsink of the GPU. Then, test it. Check to see if temperatures get better. If not, RMA it, if possible.

Yep. It tried to cook my 3060ti as well, but you can control how much of your GPU is being used. By setting maximium FPS globally or game can run. For each game:
- open the NVIDIA Control Panel by right click on desktop and go into "Manage 3D Settings"
- switch from Global to Program settings
- (let the list load) try to find Dying Light 2 on the list, if it is not there, add it
- now look on lower part of the list - "Max Frame Rate" and set it to 60

or for global settings:
- open the NVIDIA Control Panel by right click on desktop
- under 3D Settings should be "Manage 3D Settings" click on it
- search for "Max Frame Rate" under Global settings and set it to 60

An RTX 4080 should easily be able to handle 4K and not get hot like this. OP, listen to this guy if you want to destroy your GPU.

There's no real way to reduce the heat unless you lower the settings, or increase the airflow inside the tower with cooler air outside the tower to bring the overall temp down. I've already reported to them that they have some serious issues regarding the amount of GPU usage, because what happens is they never capped the amount of information that appears on the screen when you continuously fight. And so what happens is the GPU keeps getting hotter and hotter unless you take the time to clear the screen by looting everything and just taking a break from being charged wave after wave.
