Human to human combat is a huge chore.
Does anyone have fun fighting the bandits? I feel like 90% of the fight is me waiting to counter attack (because they dodge or block everything) or me getting hit with projectiles. All enemies have perfect aim, what the hell? I'm getting staggered and hit ever .2 seconds. I try to find cover, I try to be tactical, I have no idea what I'm doing wrong- I constantly take damage. This was easy to ignore in every other difficulty but nightmare, but here I see the actual problems with fighting the bandits. The combat is not only repetitive, but they have unfair advantages. The reason I'm writing this post right now is because a bandit was blocking a hit from another guy- you know, leaving his back completely exposed? I try to hit him in the back but... they have magic block powers? Theres a few things more I really despise about the bandit combat, but am I the only one?

go first after the guys with bows
block their projectiles, use pole weaps, heavy attac, finisher and hock & stromp :steamhappy:
infected knifes and arrows also help

Tbh Nightmare Mode is the most challenging and the most immersive way of playing, as above you can try to approach the fights differently e.g by using range weapons and accessories but if you feel like something is not working properly [you mentioned magic block powers] be sure to report it to our support team so they can look on it and it would be the best if you could attach a short video showcasing the problem so they can identify the problem faster.
