GRE Anomaly volatile attack
So finally tried one of those revenant fights. After killing the revenant 2 volatiles decided to enter the area so I had to leave. Area is not marked as complete. Went back to get the item. Marked as complete. Got spotted and couldn't get away so died. Fun.

Something tells me the night time boss fights should not be invaded by volatiles that are 100x harder to beat than the actual boss.

I don't know why you're having such a difficult time with these GRE Anomaly fights, they're literally super easy, but I understand if Volatiles are being a pain, but I would literally just wait till they're not near or I dunno, kill the Anomaly faster? Lol! I've had the same issues before, I just try and strategically do them, if possible.

What Level are you by chance, and what area?

Ehm, not sure why you're confused. I beat the revenant as I said in my topic. I managed to clear the area. Problem isn't the revenant. Problem is volatiles entering the area. I did the level 1 fight. There's always 4-5 volatiles just walking around the arena. Waiting for them to leave is not an option. They are always there.

Yeah, which is why I'm confused. You beat the Revenant, but the Volatile's are your issue. You beat the Revenant. You completed your task, just move to the next area, I dunno. Volatile's will be annoying like they've always been in the first game.

I had to leave before being able to get the inhibitor or loot whatever I killed in there. I had to scout around wait for the volatiles to leave. Went back, got the inhibitor. Got spotted. Died.

You weren't confused about the volatiles, in your post you litterally asked me why I had difficulty beating the boss, while that clearly wasn't the case.

Volatiles weren't annoying in the first game.

Well, it is set 22 years after the first game, there are more Volatiles.

Yea there's so many now they get stuck on eachother.

Anyway, my gripe for this topic isn't about the number of volatiles in the game (although I do think there's way too many), it's about them interfering with the revenant boss fight. The area should be inaccessible to volatiles imo.
