Inability to upgrade UV flashlight or paraglider in co-op.

I play with a friend in co-op. I am the host. Unfortunately, my friend doesn't have the option to upgrade the paraglider or UV flashlight. There are simply no blueprints in the inventory to upgrade. This problem existed when the game was released, but two years later it is still not fixed. There are eventual Nexus mods that fix this, but they are old mods from early '22 and don't help. Anyone know the solution?

Yes. And in his session, my friend has the beginning of the game.

Doesnt matter, because you automatically get the upgrades the host made.
