Because after 2 years software is worthless. Epic even gift free games every few days and not only dlcs.

I would like to at least get compensation in the form of currency in their in-game store for buying this add-on, or at least some item in the game. But in reality, it doesn't really matter. Some developers treat the audience much worse. here I can only be happy for the poor people who couldn't buy the add-on earlier

What a scam, we paid for access, not early access to this and now it's been given for free to everyone. Just like how destiny 2 robbed players of the base game and dlcs by sunsetting the entire game to make room for their shallow 80 dollar 2 hour story expansions

I purchased the DLC when it came out and I don't have a problem with it being given away now, software becomes obsolete or does not sell after time.

I would imagine if Techland were still selling a lot of copies they would not have done this.
