Dyling light 2 ending question SPOILER ALERT
i will make it short, through at the game i refused to kill Hakon and spared his life and i didn't give the tower to Frank
at the ending where you have the choice to save lawan or let her detonate the bombs
i choose to save Lawan, while saving her Hakon said he saved mia and that i should go and save lawan
then i went and got lawan out of the bombs then they show me a ending of the city being destroyed and me leaving alone out of the city
question is did lawan die? and why did hakon not leave the city with me and did he save mia
so i can understand the ending better ,thank you

You want an actual answer the story and plot is an incoherent mess. Regardless of choices barring whos leaves with you the fate of the city isn’t important. Id argue who leaves with you isn’t important either.

Still though, here's the basics of what happens in your ending

Frank maybe hates you
Saves lawan
Hakon lives
Mia dies in every ending because she can't live for long without proper medical help
City is blown up
Lawan hates you
Hakon hates you
City hates you
You don't leave a hero, but a villain (not completely sure on that one)

But thats really it. Depending on which side you choose will take control if you save Mia, if you save Hakon he can save Lawan and both can live but otherwise, she dies but either one will save the city. And if you have Hakon, Lawan will leave with you if you side with the survivors and Hakon will leave with you if you side with the peacekeepers (I think). People on both side will think differently about you depending on what you do during the game, what side you choose, and the end of it where your trying to get to the underground facility (forgot name). Hope this helps

yea thanks thats helps, i thought my game was bugged and gave me a different ending , because i thought letting hakon live and through out the game i gave more lands to piecekeepers, also saving lawan instead of the city and mia i thought i should have a different ending than a blown up city and every character hating me lmao

Not saying its random only that most choices have little wait and impact until the end. The game does little to make you feel that attached to most characters let alone the factions.
