funnily enough Dl2 has much more diverse mobility and stealth options compared to 1 so in reality it should be easier to avoid them.
I mean aussiegg made a whole video showcasing how easy it is to avoid them using zero skills or items by crossing the entire map at night without ever getting spotted or using stealth.
:/
volatiles are the apex hunter of the infected. perhaps dont act like prey if you dont want to get caught.
Advertised? I'm not sure what you're refering to. The game litterally tells you the world is more dangerous in the daytime when you rest till daytime.
gameplay wise this is ALSO true. rooftops are generally safer but not always. more volatiles are on the ground floor than the rooftops but they are capable of running and climbing so of course they are gonna be on rooftops too here or there.
I swear the trailer said the roofs were supposed to be a safe place?
survivors moved to the rooftops to avoid the majority population of infected, as well as having a safe place away from chemicals that are infecting the ground. yknow. there is a REASON that every single safehouse has a ton of UV lights surrounding it.
gee i wonder what volatiles only weakness is. hmmm.
