Lost my grappling hook

Is this a bug? i was playing co-op and went back to my world, and noticed i can't/don't have my grappling hook anymore? i've looked at the craftmaster and trader but they dont sell it, my stash is also empty. what is the fix?

If you are playing with your friend on his world, you'll have to do everything again yourself, it doesn't transfer over.

i did the gun DLC on there too, but didnt do it in my world. the gun came over, but the grappling hook didnt?

Odd, I dunno. All I know is doing things in someone else's world won't transfer progression over, maybe you already had said gun?

The gun will transfer over to you in coop, however the grapple will not, based on my experience. Could be bugged, not sure.

I assume this is to do with the gun not really have an effect on the game dynamics where as the grapple does.
