Can we please get a way to skip time from day to night anywhere?

There are nearly 70 rest points on the map at which you can do this, and you can fast travel to any metro at any time you want (as long as you are not in combat). Why does it need to be even easier?
I'm guessing it's to avoid having to go to a mission location at night while having to avoid volatiles. I can get completely behind that. Volatiles are annoying in this game. Sitting at a mission location while watching a movie waiting for time to pass is just slightly more fun than actually going there in the night time. So having the option to skip time is just getting to "fun" quicker and avoid being annoyed.

I hope they don't start to dumb this game down for the I'm-not-good-at-gaming-but-I-love-to-win crowd.
I don't think it's possible to dumb the game even further, the dialogue is not worth reading, the gameplay is boring, it takes forever to travel anywhere.

I finished the first game and DLC 100% like 4 times, I can barely finish this one due to how boring and unrewarding everything is.
Do you mean by parkour it takes forever to travel? If so, I don't mind, I like Parkour.

Elitists here confuse difficult with tedious. A game should be fun and challenging. Not boring and tedious. You want boring and tedious, go clean the bathroom with a single paper towel.

No, I mean dead time going from place to place. You spend more time moving around than doing actual stuff and everything feels super lame, especially reputation and daily grind BS

While I do not mind either, I love the parkour, a compromise could be a prompt on entering a darkzone offering to change to night-time.

Might have to ignore logistics with wandering zombies and whatnot as the player would be effectively frozen in place transitioning to the darkzone, as immersion-braking as that is I think my personal preference would be to not have it.

I think if we can find a place where we can easily AFK and wait for time to pass, the option to skip time should also exist.

Maybe make it a skill with a % of spawning something bad if we're unlucky. Or have little skills points in it.

There's many ways to add QoL features to a game.

Problem is that it is necessary for this request to exist. If they fixed the Volatiles at night density, chase distance and duration and other QoL updates then this would have never been an issue, because going to a place from A to B wouldn't be such a chore. Currently a chase doesn't end unless you're in a safe zone or for some other random reason that I've yet to recreate. But just traveling from A to B has you go from safe zone to safe zone, and if you select a nightrunner safe zone you're screwed, because it doesn't reset volatiles. I had 2 volatiles just stare at me in the safe zone, getting stuck on the UV light when they wanted to move. They wouldn't leave or whatever. Happened multiple times. So going to a safe zone isn't even a solution.

Not being able to skip night to day makes sense.

But day to night would be a great QoL especially since so many missions ask you do to them at night.
They always give you the option to do so when you receive a night time mission but theres literally safezones and nightrunner hideouts near most mission locations.

I think accepting the mission forces night time. It's not an option.

I've managed to end chases by hiding. You have a little indicator around your crosshair that changes colour. White through red is the usual noticed-to-hostile you get in most games but there is also gray for when all volatiles have lost track of you. If you enter a door/window, or jump into a hiding spot when that indicator is gray then they have to find you again.

Meh I've been going in buildings, on top of buildings, frikking flying away for a mile and virals still come out of the litteral woodwork. Hiding in grass doesn't work vs virals. Only vs Volatiles. So that's pointless. Even if you kill all volatiles, the chase doesn't end. Virals keep pouring out infinitely.

What level chase did you have when you tried to fly away?
Just curious since flying away is one of my go-to's for escaping at night.
