I have no idea if devs are aware yet or how long the issue existed since it happens on all drivers, its also reproduceable on any 7900 XTX with high quality preset its most noticeable, but even with RT but it can be missed if you haven't seen the RGB laser show before.
I don't think it should stop you from enjoying the game though. Valk is pretty spot on though with the Dying Lite mod
Otherwise, if you would like to deal with them, there are a hundred and two different ways to deal with them. UV bars are downright broken to the point you can throw one and just leave your keyboard to go do something else.
Another thing is using survivor sense and spam it so you know ahead of time where the volatiles are. There will be some absolute bs spawns out of literal thin air but for the most part, volatile can never actually hit or catch you if you use your movement correctly. Things like climbing can be incredibly slow especially with a bad animation so you can offset that by changing your pathing. Hope this helps!
I hope you realize that the game can be broken in multiple ways not just one way.
Thanks for the suggestion @Valkynaz, but I'm not really in to modding. And honestly, I lost most of my motivation to play again.
Sorry, we PAID for a game, then it was changed in a way that we didn't like after the fact, with no input or option from us, we have every right to be upset, go boot lick somewhere else.
We keep coming back hoping something has changed and it obviously never will. Tons of other better games to play.
Combat against humans is still crap. Love it when they "dodge" my attacks aka my weapon just goes through them and a second later, they dodge. Or when the alarm dudes start ringing it, you swing at them and they BLOCK you with the alarm thing but its actually their weapon because this game can't finish animations right.
