I've gotten it to work, but Unfortunately Frame Gen tends to stutter out the wazoo when you have any type of Upscaler turned on. Do you know how to fix this by any chance?

Just note that this is still something that's going to be mostly for the higher-end cards (i.e. don't expect miracles on a 2060 or 3050), unless you are running at a relatively low resolution. Framegen isn't a magical performance fix to pull a barely-playable FPS range out of the gutter; it's to smooth out the gap between ~60FPS and 120Hz+ displays. You need to adjust settings to get the game up to at least about 40-60FPS, because on the lower end of that, the latency introduced by FG becomes much more noticeable, to the point that it might not even be worth using on account of the visual artifacts + latency compared to just any upscaler with no FG.

Oh yeah, I realized it after experimenting for a little while, it just wasn't worth using Frame Gen on DL2. I wasn't expecting a miracle tbh, just wanted to see how performance would be with Ray tracing honestly. And I've just come to the conclusion with the way it's implemented in this game compared to Cyberpunk and Jedi : Survivor, heck even Warhammer Darktide, it's just rough. I've got an RTX 3070 and get pretty good frames with just DLSS alone.
Edit: I say this, but more than anything my issue is the fact that it just stutters out the wazoo with Upscaling compared to other games.

Works awesome with no stutter at all on my RTX 2060 . Super smooth

Is there any drawback using FG only and turning off DLSS? Is the framerate better and more stable?

turning off dlss results in a slightly clearer image

for the best performance, both should be turned on

But stuttering on non-FG cards is not best performance right? I opt for stable performance over high framerate.

It didn't work for me, I did everything in the guide but the frame generation does not appear in the game, the same thing happened to my cousin, we both have an rtx 3070

hi I have included another small version.dll. it shouldn't be required but try installing that and tell me if it works. the guide is updated

Does anyone else get higher fps but looks as if it’s running at a lower frame rate. I played at 120 with dlss quality without frame gen. Then used frame gen and feels like 80 fps despite saying 200 plus. Just looks so choppy
