bug on christmas tree

I spent more than 10 hours to get the 21 stars and bought the ultimate upgrade park. I tried to upgrade the christmas tree and it did not upgrade and ate my upgrade park. I dont want to waste another 10 hours to farm it again as I want to play another games. It is really bad...

what's the reward for a complete pimped christmas tree? can you use it as a weapon later on?

I didnot upgrade to the max level christmas tree because of the bug. Now, I am on one normal upgrade kit and one star level.It gives you 4 xmas gifts and they do respawn . As i watched the video from youtube , the max level christmas tree give u snow grenades. Before upgrade to the max level christmas tree, I highly recommend reopen the game. I save the letters for xp boost. After i bought the new game on winter sale, I change my mind and used them all to buy ulitmate upgrade park. The game start to bug as i used all the letters in the short time. The xmas chests did not close and the volatiles spawn before the night start....
