Mechanic suggestion: heavy armor.
NOTE: This is only so I do not forget for when the suggestion site comes back online.

HEAVY ARMOR

Heavy armor is a chest equipped item that goes OVER your standard chest. heavy armor has two main features, the first a secondary healthbar depending on the armor level, and the second being an increase to all equipped armors gear armor. This comes at a cost of Stamina drain increase, and the block of one slot in both equipment and throwable slots.)

Heavy armor can not be repaired, once its HP reaches zero it breaks and you loose it and will need to buy or equip a new set. all heavy armor has 5 levels with each level of it increasing its HP by 25% of its base HP value. and its DR by 5%

Rarely Human and Zombie enemies will spawn with armor, they will drop it if you kill them with headshots.

--------

Heavy armor types

Iron
basic heavy armor can be bought from any craftsman.
HP: 200 (500 max)
DR: NA (30% max)
slot restriction: blocks equipment and throwable slots
stamina drain: +50% parkour stamina drain.

Titanium
Improved heavy armor, access given after getting to the central loop.
HP: 400 (900 max)
DR: 15% (45% max)
Slot restrictions: same as iron
Stamina drain: +25% parkour stamina drain.

Kevlar
Rare pre fall armor. Only one crafter master knows, and they only spawn in new game plus.
HP: 600 (1500)
DR: 20 (50% max)
slot restrictions: same as iron
Stamina drain: +10% parkour stamina drain.

------------
Each armor has an upgrade slot, upgrades have 3 levels each and require new titanium plates (legendary craft part.) to make. kevlar and Titanium have two mod slots though all armor mods are counted as the same type.

Ablative plating
+10%/+20%/+30% ranged damage reduction.

Weighted plates
+light, medium, heavy stagger resist.

Improved welding
+10%/25%/50% Armor HP

Webbing
no extra levels, removes the slot restriction downsides.

Light weight plates
-25/-15%/-5% armor HP, removes stamina downside.

This makes no sense as an addition to the game since toughness/regen/stamina boosters exist. They are so effective and cheap to craft that they immediately render your idea redundant.

So, redundant things for different gameplay styles are ok.

I have a better idea: they improve finisher capabilities than add a heavy armor type that no one will use because we already have boosters and the Shield Glove from the DLC. Something tells me you never touched the DLC. Because the Shield Glove is a shield that fits on Aiden's wrist that can block power attacks and also has offensive capabilities.

I use the shield glove, I love its burst mod ability. Acid melts everyone.

Once again alt gameplay functions are ok.

But there's nothing about your suggestion that would differentiate it as an alternative to just using boosters, other than visual flourish. Even switching between existing armor types makes more of a difference to gameplay than your suggestions :steamfacepalm:

existing armors adds HP? No armor I have ever seen has had an HP bar.

Also there is a big difference, some effects block using boosters. So some times equipping a booster isn't the best way to enter the fight.

Boosters are good I am not saying they are not, but they are one strategy in the game just once.

Another is the bloody ties shield, and this would just be a third. This one is more for those who like to take it slow and walk the streets so to speak.

TELL ME . Where or Who is Rarley Humans? i Found only villidor and Pk's they are not rare. The other is u mean the one who try to break the chest with Rar Loot but they never drop Special items from this Human.

i play new game + on Hard Mode and doesnt found gear which i can upgrade! I use my old Gear before the Patch comes out. Rowdy Gear wich gives 49% Defense from Zombie Dmg and 52% Defense from Humans... and 1H Dmg increase and stamina Recovery is near 40-60%. That Gear is after the Patch Crap! same like the Military gear from Pilgrim Oupost. The Max Defense from Zombie Dmg is wit 6/6 near 6% xD WTF
