Lmao modern gaming in a nutshell

So i boot up DL2 after seeing the collab with for honor because who doesnt wanna run around in warden gear in a zombie apocalypse. I download and I'm ready and excited to grind for these cosmetics, I was down to grind for them all but I mainly wanted the warden cus that was my boy back in the day. I get into the game and look at what I need to do to grind for these cool new cosmetics, thinking 'finally a reason to boot up and play the game again'. Lo and behold the way for you to grind out the warden armor is to pull out your wallet. Really starting to see why Onizombies was so against this ♥♥♥♥. I'm down to pay 5 for the bundle but was kinda hoping for a reason to play this game, like grinding out some cool quests to get an armor set. But hey, why play the game when you can just pay for ♥♥♥♥ you won't even be able to see?
Edit: I am aware that you can kill 30 enemies for the berseker set, which is objectively the worst set, but that's hardly a reason to hop back into the game considering it'd take a couple minutes max. Was really hoping for more here.

I mean logically I would have played more if I could unlock the other sets via game activities. As of now I did my 30 kills, got Berserker set that I wish came with Armor pieces like the Plague and Scarecrow set does but doesn't. I'm also not a fan of the charge up weapons because they can't store charges till I wanna use them. So those things lower excitement.

So I'm all done and moved back to other gamez. Not buying any bundlez.

If they keep it that way in the next 3 years that they still have, supposedly, there could be just a massive layoff wave that will dismantle TL to the core, leading to its destruction.
Only their long lasting (5 years) support plan is keping them somehow in the "game", because without it "Ten cents" could just easily kick em out and closed the doors 4ever.

That's what always gets me. People wanna say all this good stuff about tencent and ignore the fact that they are basically mega corp at this point that have absolutely ruined games with over monetization etc, and the people who always pay are the devs who get laid off and abused online. Some faceless old ♥♥♥♥♥ sitting around a table collecting checks and counting their money after they just burned down something that people loved for a quick buck and blamed it all the only ones who actually tried to do something about it. Really pisses me off, at that point you're affecting someones livelihood for pure greed. Pigs rolling around in filth.

Let me break this down for you again.
I'm not complaining about the fact that I have to spend money, it's 5 dollars bud if you're broke you don't have to tell me. It's more so to the fact that they had a pretty great opportunity to make money and have a cool reason to boot the game back up, but the lack luster nature of this event leaves much to be desired. Killing the same 3 enemy models was a little less than I was expecting.

The event is OK, just the enemies spawn slow and the marker may vanish in seconds. Also you set too high amount for global goal on all events.

Also I did not get Berserker´s Axe blueprint as reward, only the axe. ...Then I logged to the site. Then I restarted the game and I got blueprint of axe. I do not know if it would stay still. Besides, would be cool, if you solve the vanishing of Dying laugh bate´s blueprint too, which we bought for 50 tokens with the proper bate.

And also fix crashes. Unbearable ! Few minutes to play, crash, go to bed, crash, teleport, crash.

Today I discovered that smash skill does not work anymore. The button to proceed does not appear. So I can not complete the bounty of Pilgrim outpost.

Would be preferable if you stop to update the damn game. You actually only made it worse with each update especially with disastrous "Good night, good luck". Never had any problem with the game until that update. Now have issues, can not join to friend on coop or must try it a few times to make it work. Or you could make that update is optional. Users who like to play new mess, lets play. Others we like old good version. I like the events though and rewards when you can get them.

It was the same in the first game and nobody complained they didnt even give u a free outfit just blueprints.

Not sure what drugs you're on or who the ♥♥♥♥ you are but I have plenty of free cosmetics in DL1 from events. wtf you mean by "it was the same in the first game", what was the same in the first game dumbass?

in retro gaming... or even just 15 years ago, we would have gotten nothing... so yes this is modern gaming.

You're complaining about modern gaming because we get things. unlike before where we got nothing. i swear everyone who complains about "modern" gaming has been only playing video games during the last 10 years and not before. they then play the few golden games from before and think "oh man all games were as good as mario and FF and metriod" and its like... games were worse before... being a gamer now is cheaper and more fun and more friendly to the wallet. if you think its less friendly to the wallet now its because you were literally a child before and don't have a gauge.
