unable to mark UV

I should be able to hold "Q" and have the nearest UV light location marked right? This doesn't seem to work for me. I had a mission tell me this, but now it no longer seems to work. Do you just have to get farther or something? I wanted to do some questing.

I never noticed that small detail, marking with the survivor sense. It was just x-ray with limited range, around 30 meters. The UV lights are always visible on the compass thingy.

You can tag places with the binoculars which is the B key i think.
