How does wall running work?
I have the Wall Run skill where you should be able to run up a wall
I saw a video with a guy who combined wall running and the grappling hook to climb very tall buildings
Some thing about holding Space ... but Space disengages the grappling hook?
I can't make it work
What am I doing wrong?

do you have a link to the video?? im not 100% sure what youre explaining. the wall running skill isnt for height. youre thinking of tic tac i think

StevenT2002 is correct. The wall running skill cannot NOT be used to scale vertically up. It can only be used horizontally running across a wall. To climb up vertically with the help of a grappling hook, that is the Tic Tac skill.

Wall Run is vertical, Tic-Tac is horizontal
And I do have Tic-Tac

No, you got it wrong. Wall run is horizontal. Tic-Tac is vertical.

jakob if i run in direction of a wall with maintaining space bar ,with the skill you show in the competence tree, i can run on a little distance on it (vertically)and if i press a second time on the space bar i'll gonna jump more upward. You can litterally run on a wall and jump at the what side you decide.

I just played Mirrors Edge (the original) b4 this game and compared 2 of them- half of the skills just don´t work half of the time in DL2. I don´t know, it has a delay or not registering some of the clicks. Whilst in ME every timed parkour move just works. Dunno if its my hardware combo or the game is too massive to keep everything checked all the time. But I´ve jumped in middle of zombie packs and just stared at them- instead of going parkour\power attacks.
Same with Wall Runs- in ME you can start it with breeze. Here I just can´t get it to work- face the wall. hit space for jumps, hit space another time and most of the buildings have some tiny edges which cancel the run and down you go.
