Veronika Ryan "Get rid of the Renegades" softlocked

This has been bugged for over a year per other reddit posts. Some people have found solutions but others can't.

Techland please fixxxxxxxxxx. Can not progress the story any further.

My husband and I just arrived at this mission and are also stuck now, F*ck*** great! not the first time we were locked out from talking to a key character, but at that time restarting helped. I see many players on reddit etc. writing about having this same problem especially since last week. I hope it get fixed soon because we can't continue the game now. What a mess. So many bugs in this game, not only small ones which I can always ignore easy, but game breaking ones. I haven't played a game with so many bugs before.

I also have this problem. Everyone is powerless. and there is no reply from Techland yet.

dont worry guys, one thing that could fix it is rolling back the save, and then doing that part of the mission in solo mode, suuper simple and reasonable

I tried. Rolling back saves won't get me back to before this quest is active; Rolling back saves only took me as far as after I accept Veronika's Mission, so in order for this to work I need to find how to access the saves before this one.

same. rolling back didn't work because i couldn't roll back the save far enough. me and the two others i was playing co-op with ended up just going through one of their campaigns until we got to that same spot again. now we just play in that campaign. took us about 4 hours to run back through the campaign. really annoying but that's what we did

Hey. I saw there was a update, so I went in and check that we can now talk to Vincenzo to progress the story. I'm not sure was it the update that affected this, or the roll back saves.

I've just tried running the game alone without my husband joining in co-op (I always was the host so I got the save file) and could now continue. But I think you're right it was an update. I checked and my game updated today, it updated about 1 hour before I started playing, so I think they have fixed it for us all, I hope everyone can continue now :) cheers!

I'm happy for you, that it is now working - next step will be the missing NG+ Option for a lot of players after completing the endgame

Thanks! We've finished the game yesterday. And for me there's a New Game + option too. Maybe I'll try that.
