in your opinion, is this the best first person parkour game ?

i feel like for me it is, specially with the music and sound design system that is connected to it, but maybe there are other games i don't know about ?

There's not many parkour game that I know of sadly but from the one I know I found ghostrunner and phantom abyss to be pretty great

Matter of preference I guess, I also prefer dl2 the map design is a lot more interesting to me and make the parkour that much better plus all the little addition they did here and there but a lot (most?) of people prefered the more grounded feel of dl1 I think... that's why dl1 still have as many players as dl2

I prefer mirrors edge yeah it isn't as long but the whole puzzle game and parkour just kinda clicked to me

The parkour is better in DL2 than it was in one. Even practitioners of parkour in real life say this.

This doesn't mean that DL2 is a better game though.

DL2 has the most moves. Both traversal and combat. The map design in 2 makes traversal even better. Music syncs to what you're doing. DL1 was definitely heavier but felt imprecise at times. Once you got the grappling hook, parkour got stale. Mirrors Edge deserves a mention like Phillip said.

I personally like DL1 for it's perfectly paced (and not grindy) progression with a lack of modern game fluff.

Completely agree, DL2 has way to much pointless crap, the combat was made far to complicated.
