Main menu music is awful

Just got the game. So far its fun but that music they got going for the theme of this game is terrible. Or am I just trippin

I don't really see anything wrong with it, it fits the vibe of the game pretty well although I admit the first game's menu theme is much better.

It's a good thing you only hang out in the main menu for a few seconds before starting to play then. Bit of an odd complaint, but yeah... first game's theme was SOLID AF!

haha dude, I normally dont notice things like that. Its just noticeably bad how terrible the main menu music and loading screen music is lol! And I agree, DL1's music was really good!

i actually like it, it fits well and its a good theme overall. but also i normally play with music off because i'm watching a video or something at the same time i play, every time i do turn on the game music tho i'm reminded that its very solid overall and in some places outright good

Truth.

I will say Dying Light 1 has great music though. 2 is more epic and action-y, I really liked the music that plays during tense scenes like the Renegades attacking the Fish Eye, or when you gotta blow up the PK windmill, that orchestral action packed music. Really gets the blood pumping.

As for the menu theme for 2, I think it's fine, it kind of gives me a sense of a hopeful sadness if that makes sense? Kinda fits the game and its theme.

Oh thank god I'm not the only one. I hate the "I'm at a renaissance festival" music when you're at any peaceful place like the bazaar, too. I was googling two days ago to see if I could somehow replace it with DL1 music or something else. Don't get me wrong, I like the reactive music when you're running around, it's just, uh... Everything else.

The music in Dying Light 1 is so iconic and classic in my opinion. My only complaint is that it sounds somewhat repetitive. Yet I enjoy it enough to listen to it every once in a while even though its not on my main playlist.
Dying Light 1 songs like "Horizon", "Strife", and "In The Cage" are just full of atmosphere and unique sounds. I also like "Stealth" from The Following it somewhat reminds me of the soundtrack of The Ultimate Spider-Man game that was on the original Xbox.

I've tried to listen to Dying Light 2's soundtrack and I couldn't even name a single song from it. The first game's music is just so much more memorable. Especially the main menu theme.

The above is my biased personal opinion. So if you like Dying Light 2's music good for you, and if so what are your favorite features or songs in the soundtrack?

I think some songs are good but my god the survivor music after hearing that ♥♥♥♥ for the 50th time I'm sick of it. I want to change that song specifically to the main theme song of Dying light 1, I can't think of the actual name of that song but its the GRE sounding main menu music I believe. That song over the survivor music that plays within my eardrums any day, hopefully someone can make a mod for this because in all honesty its a much better fit than the parade in the 15th century which I get was the feeling they were going for but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, that one song gets really old, really fast.
