Why is co-op so DAMN BUGGY?
Before around a week ago I hadn't touched this game since launch but recently I started replaying it in co-op with a friend, and I swear to god the amount of bugs we've experienced is INSANE. From my friend randomly turning invisible, his character continuously spinning, we've seen multiple random debug-looking rectangles in some missions, crashing, black screens and a lot more, it's a really wide range of different bugs happening and I swear I never experienced ANY of this in singleplayer at launch.

I'm mainly just making this post to ask active players, is this REGULAR behavior? has the game always been this buggy in co-op or did they just break the ♥♥♥♥ out of it after updates? Not joking when I say I had a smoother experience with Cyberpunk on launch loll

On a positive note, I really love the way the combat feels now.

I should've noted they usually started to happen after abt 3+ hours of playing for some reason, recorded this earlier since it was funny asf https://streamable.com/dv4ecb

The whole game is a bunch of stringed bugs pretending to work as a fully developed game.
Haven't tried co-op but in single player I have fell through the map while looking in my stash, more than 5 times. Climbed through textures, fell through the water out of the map, had virals go in circles for full minutes, got clapped in broad daylight by volatiles because apparently sunlight doesn't have enough UV strength to kill them on contact, virals and volatiles entering safe zones and beating the everliving crap out of me because safe zones disable use of weapons and gadgets. Still, it's fun when it's working.
still is a piece of dog turd. everytime, no matter how long we've been playing my friend fights for zombies that don't exist on my game. logged out, went back in and still the enemies my friend is fighting are invisible to me. they wont also do any damage to me. it seems that both of us are playing whole different instance, and only the player models are connected. what a waste of extremely fun potential.

sad to hear, we ended up just moving onto a different game since the bugs were overwhelming. was tempted to come back for the Reloaded update but probably won't now.

played through Dying Light 1 with someone else recently and the experience was mostly flawless despite even being on opposite sides of the world.
