Is there a way to prevent the game for sending me to the epic homepage everytime i start the game?

Yes - not linking your Steam Account to Epic in the first place. I never created an Epic Account and never used anything related to that. So yeah - the option is there but only if I go to the dedicated option and even then I'm actively asked to log in to Epic - which of course, is no valid option for me.

So what can you do now? What you should do is: unlink your Steam Account from Epic and ditch the later.

Ok thanks. Will try to unlink...
But it is really stoopid to redirect me out from my game on a website at every game start.

Huh.

I got the popup in-game asking me to link, but I didn't get redirected anywhere.

Yep forgot I had an account with'm, I got fortnite before it released because a zombie tower defence looked really cool. now I don't even know if it's possible to play the story
