I started playing 10 days ago before the event start.
Got a white wrench, started exploring around... even in the middle of the day under the sun, there are dozen of active zombies. Aren't they supposed to be dormant/in building/burn in the sun? Every second roof has bandits ready to chase me, and there's always one of them with a horn to get more zombies mixed in.
My weapon does about 15dmg... it takes a full stamina bar to kill a zombie, and there are always at least 6 chasing me. By the time I kill a wave, a second one has spawned before I can loot anything.
During the tutorial I had accumulated a lot of healing suplies... all that was gone almost instantly when I reached the city, and collecting more is insanely hard.
Early level 1 quests takes me to a level 4 area where I get brutally murdered. Am I supposed to run away from everything all the time? Is this a stealth game?
This game has an atrocious experience for new players and the only way I fond to survive was to claim free DLC weapons that deal triple the damage of a normal weapon. This feels like cheating but at least I'm getting some progress.
People were complaining that the game is boring. That there's nothing else to do after you finish the game. Now, the game is stuffed with encounters and events.
The game shouldn't really give it all on your noob character immediately at the very beginning. Nothing in your pockets, yet here you go: deal with all the virals, renegades etc. Ah, and remember - it will get even worse at night! Have fun (yeah right).
Every time they add something in the game i test it with a new character. This time it was a nice Viral Event. Virals won't stop spawning. I've found a chest. That one with bandits hiding. Guess what? I was fighting virals for 30 or 40 minutes, wondering if they will ever stop spawning. The did, but hell, it was a challenge to open a damn chest with some gray loot in it. And yes, i broke all my weapons. Nice Event. Fun mostly.
run guys
run
You mean, a literal kick shouldn't make enough noise to attract virals?
Pfft, that's too LOGICAL. This is Techland we're talking about here.
