There is no Quality with FSR...
Maybe buy the game first
I'll send you an invite to steam friendlist
I have;
i5 12600KF
RTX 3060 12gb
2x16gb 3600MHZ CL18
game installed Crucial 1TB M2
nvidia driver version: 528.49
Windows 11 (OS Build 22621.1555)
I have updated BIOS last version.
--------------------------------
Game was running fluently all zones day and nights but right now I'm playing most zones about 65-70fps...
All my settings are on maximum + DLSS quality + full screen.
I play at 2k resolution, dx12, all on high, and FSR2 in performance mode, full screen.
installed on SSD.
and the latest AMD drivers. 23.4.2 windows 11
I played the day before the patch and it had about 70-75 fps quite stable, in the same areas just walking and doing some parkour, it goes from 60 fps to 55 now after the update, with the same graphic settings.
First: This game doesn't work properly if it's not installed in the windows drive. I changed my game's drive recently for a new NVMe and moved all my games to this drive, including DL2.
Yesterday after the update I had two crashes, HDMI signal lost and 20 fewer fps. I moved DL2 back to the windows drive, everything was fixed.
Second: If you experience texture flickering, as Aussie GG was yesterday during the stream, you can change to DX11 or set the texture to medium in DX12.
1080ti@2100mhz
32gb ddr4@3600mhz
playing on dx12, max settings execpt for default LOD, assync compute turned on. 1080p no upscaling. Before update 60fps stable everywhere no stutter, after update frame drops to 50 depending on the area and visible stutter.
also noticed my gpu temps sky rocketed, before upd was 60c, after above 70c.
will try lowering fog quality
I have it installed on a different drive, not windows = no issues detected. After an update i had that (like everyone should've had) msg about updating vc driver, and so i did. Also checked game files via steam verify.
Runs alright everything Ultra+RT. Yes, my fps went from 200+ to 150+, but... for real, guys?
Its been confirmed recent Windows 11/10 update has messed up the Kernel security which impacts Core and Virtualization, resulting in poor performance.
Microsoft employees are earning fortune for nothing, but for being incompetent.
"Technical

Seems like the graphical improvements take a toll...
