Legend Level ( Locked) info..

Hi, I would like some information..
Changing a script ( no rain effects and no blood effect on the screen ) very annoying things from my point of view..

Opening the game now it tells me that the legend level has been locked..

it is essential? does it compromise anything? Does it still give steam achievements? is there a way to remove these annoying effects without this block?

yes i reported this some time ago, if you use mods it will tell you that always

Ok, about my questions.. does it compromise anything? what is legend mode? Do I still receive the achievements? If I use the mod, and then when I get to the end game I deactivate the mod, can I still enter this legend mode?

legend levels are gained when you reach max combat AND parkour profficiency so it is kind of late game stuff if you just startd the game or are far from getting max level you can play until you get there I think and then re-enable those effects and just cry when you are blind but now a Legend

Every kind of change in the scripts will result in locking the legend levels. So making a backup of *data0.pak" is recommended. If you edited that file and you dont have a copy of him, you must run an integrity check of the game files in the game options(practically reinstalling the whole game), becouse even if you write back the old parametars to their original state, the game will still keep showing the prompt taht there are modified data. Note, this will not harm the save file in any way :)

Ok thanks to all , yes i have a copy of *data0.pak" ;) I think I'll do so then.. for the moment I'm still because the game is giving me severe nausea in the neck.. even with the sickness mode active

Well I think, Techland just released a new update witch will allow to play with mods, without locking the legend tiers :)

yes and it works fine. the only thing after patching, is to convert your savegame. But this comes automatic, when you try to start your game ;)

youre half right, we cannot gain any XP using mods, even with a more weather mod.
