If you're not sure, why don't you just buy what you want on Steam? By buying dl points you're only supporting the developer's decision to implement dl points.

Just i'm interested and buy DL points and buy in DL Store is cheaper than prices on steam. And maybe someone used DL point and i want to know.
I have only DLC to buy only cost more than 500 DL points so i cant check this without buy points

It may seem cheaper at first glance, but have you noticed that everything costs just a little bit more than a bundle of dl points? So you need to buy more points, and you'll have leftover points.

So in the end it is more expensive and you'll waste money.

Do you see the new Bundles on Steam? Because I don't.

I don't know what the new bundles are? I haven't played since the controversial changes. I just figured they would sell the same stuff on Steam. If they don't, that's a real nasty way to push their dl points. Not that I'm surprised, but still.

these bundles can be bough only by ingame currency which cannot be refunded once you buy it

So also circumventing the Steam refund policy? That's nice.

Probably not, given how some players on Discord are reporting their points and purchased bundles completely disappearing. Don't buy these points, their pricing is incredibly predatory and you only show support for this stupid addition by buying them.

In a way, yes. Tripwire does it too with their in-game store for KF2.

So, like other suggested, don't buy any premium currency for DL2. This type of practice should just stop, especially for triple A games that cost $60 or more. People already paid for the base game and companies try to milk their consumers out of greed.

I was check 2 dlc's price on steam versus buy 1 package DL points to buy same 2 DLC's and second option is cheaper.

F.E
Rahim and Post Apo DLC cost on steam in my country 63,98 PLN

In DL store both DLC's cost 1100 DL Points (2*550).

Second package DL points 1000+100 (bonus), 1100 points cost 39,99 PLN

So on steam is 63,98 PLN
vs
39,99 (in game store)

thats 23,99 PLN difference when DL store is cheaper.
Thats +- 5,20 Euro (only on buy 2 DLC).

Still noone dont see any difference ?

Ok no one know answer on my question.
So i buy and in game DLC's worked on 3 different's saves and in game store that's DLC's mark as owned.
But steam dont see this DLC's as owned so thats only minus in this situation but dlc's can buy cheaper.

Alright, but don't come complaining when your dlc disappears :)

And do you have points leftover? Because that's why it is more expensive. You can't buy enough points for exactly the dlc you want, you always have to buy more, so that you have points leftover. And what are you gonna do with those leftover points? Is it a waste of money? Or are you gonna buy more points so you can at least buy more dlc... And have more points leftover?

I hope you understand what they're doing. You're falling for it.

It is so funny to see how many people are even trying to tell our dear original poster to not buy it, because he just support Tencent+Techland decision etc...Jesus christ, get over it already. Are you for real trying to convince someone to not buy something with his own money ? I am usually not a frequent poster, but this is quite crazy even for my standards. It is cheaper and much more affordable in long term (left over points can be used as reason to buy less next time etc.) Also why not complain about buying stupid bundles like in Dying Light 1...Which was quite a cash grab as well and also worse than Dying Light 2. I just can't understand some of these people that commented...It is what it is, you cannot change these things, so just let other people do as they wish. Because even I don't support Dying Light points completely...I can understand it and well..If you dont like it...Hmm, maybe not buy it then ? And stop complaining ? I am so amazed how some people react to such a normal thing these days. I will get you on straight line here. This is nothing compared to some decisions and cash grabs and so on, that some companies does...EHM, Blizzard...Anyway it is so hard to keep quiet for a while ? I actually see this as normal thing these days. If you rather focused on complaining abou first DLC and Ultimate edition let down (for those people that bought it), it would be 10 times better than this clown show.

For original poster: From my personal experience in game bundles you buy in certain games from the ''game'' or ''launcher'' etc. mostly do not show as owned in Steam. But they should be bound to your account, in this case to Techland account (propably) or Steam account as well, but it just won't let you show that you own it. That being said, I might be wrong. But from some of my personal experiences in certain games. It worked like that. But they were kinda right about 1 thing, it is good to wait a bit before buying this 'exlusive currency'' because usually (a lot) happens that update screw something up and you don't get it etc. Then you gotta contact support and it is quite a ''essay journey'' or rather like quite annoying to sort it out and wait for answer :).

Also sorry if I am being too ''agressive'', but it is kinda weird for me to see people complain about such things these days. Yes, it is pve/singleplayer/coop game, but there is nothing p2w and mostly it does not matter when it is not pvp to take advantage on real players and so on. I actually see this quite as a win for any side. Wanna use Steam bundle normally ? Buy from store then, wanna in game ? Just get it in there. And even bit cheaper. What is problem here again ?

Noo i was buy 1100 DL Points and i spend all.
So i have 0 balance (without free start bonus 500).
But if i have left points i can spent them later on next DLC's.
On steam wallet you have left money that's similar situation.
You add money to steam wallet like 10-20-50 euro and buy game per 5-15-25 euro and money wait on next buy too like DL Store.

Ok maybe some people lost points (gone) thats new feature and like a lot new things in game have bugs so techland for sure work on repair it, maybe repair it.

About vanished DLC's only i can wait. On this moment i dont have that problem and better be hopefully they dont vanish

So you're saying because other companies have terrible anti-consumer behaviour, so Techland is allowed to do that too and no one is allowed to complain about it?

You say you're not supporting it either, but with your comment you are enabling it.
